Using IndieQR

By using IndieQR, you agree to these terms. IndieQR lets you turn a public website, app, or product link into a branded static QR code. You can create and customize a QR without an account.

Free launch downloads and optional support

The full QR pack is free during our launch. Each ZIP includes a 4096 × 4096 px PNG, SVG, and PDF. The planned price is $5.99 USD per QR; no payment is required now. There is no subscription or account requirement.

You can optionally support IndieQR through Ko-fi. Supporting the project is not required to download and does not unlock additional files. Any future pricing will be shown before you choose to download; downloaded QR codes will continue to work.

Your links and artwork

Only use links, logos, and artwork you have permission to use. You retain your rights to the content you provide and may use your downloaded QR in personal or commercial projects, subject to any third-party rights. You allow us to process that content to provide the service.

Do not use IndieQR for phishing, malware, fraud, unlawful content, or infringement. Do not attempt to bypass security controls or disrupt the service.

Static codes and saved files

Your destination is encoded directly in the QR. Downloaded codes have no IndieQR expiry or scan limit, but the destination must remain available. An existing static QR cannot be redirected to a new link.

Keep your downloaded ZIP. You can download again from the download page while your design remains in the same browser tab. Closing the tab or clearing its storage may remove the saved design. You can always create another QR.

Download problems

If a download goes wrong, try the download button again or contact hello@indieqr.co with a description of the problem and any error message.

Availability and scan quality

We run a software readability check, but devices, printing, colors, and placement affect scanning. Test your downloaded QR on real devices before sharing it or ordering printed materials. The service is provided as available; uninterrupted access and compatibility with every scanner cannot be guaranteed.

Privacy and updates

Our privacy policy explains how information is handled. We may update these terms as the service changes; the date above identifies this version. Questions can be sent to contact support.
